Mrs. Kerianne...

Mrs. Kerianne Hinerman started dancing at the age of three, at the Frederick School of Classical Ballet under the direction of Joyce Morrison, a student of George Balanchine. At 11 years old, Mrs. Hinerman was awarded a competitive scholarship to attend the Pennsylvania Ballet’s intensive summer program, and was a company member at Inwood Performing Arts, under the direction of Shan Dai, (former principal dancer with the Bejing Ballet) and Deana Smith, (Royal Academy of Dance Certified Instructor). While dancing with Inwood Performing Arts Mrs. Hinerman studied and performed at the West Virginia Dance Festival and the South Eastern Regional Ballet Association (SERBA). Starting at the age of 14, Mrs. Hinerman went on to study and perform with schools and companies including a full scholarship to The Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton Florida, the Pennsylvania Ballet, Eglevsky Ballet, and the Washington Ballet.
When Mrs. Hinerman was 25 years old she turned her attention to modern dance and joined Arts United of Washington DC, a modern dance company, while also achieving an Honors in Associate of Arts degree in Dance from Montgomery College. In 2002, Mrs. Hinerman professionally pursued the aerial arts and was a founding member of the aerial company, Updraft: A Conspiracy of Movement, where she trained with Therese Keegan.
