Dreams of tutus and toe shoes fulfilled here!
We offer a levelled progression of classical ballet technique in the traditional class format of barre, center, and across the floor movement. Dancers learn the steps, vocabulary, and history of this beautiful, challenging, graceful form of dance. As the basis for all forms of concert dance, ballet is recommended (but not required) for all dancers.
Pointe
(dancing on the ends of the toes) is an extension of ballet training for accomplished dancers. Due to the potential for injury, progression into pointe is only offered after careful consideration of a dancer's strength, ankle structure, and overall alignment. Not all dancers will progress into pointe. Commitment to multiple ballet classes per week, and continued training over the summer is required for progression into Pointe.
Let Your Feet Find that Fascinatin' Rhythm!
A levelled progression in tap dance rhythms from the classic to the contemporary.
Upbeat, fast-paced, and high energy, Jazz is a stylized form of dance that incorporates Broadway, Latin and commercial styles with technical aspects of leaps and turns. Co-enrollment in ballet is recommended at all levels, and is required at upper levels.
Broaden your movement experience! Explore your creativity and artistry in this movement style without limits. Contemporary combines technical elements of ballet, modern and jazz techniques and dancers will tilt, swing, suspend, release, and expand their artistic boundaries. Co-enrollment in ballet is recommended for all levels and is required for upper levels.
Bring Your Swagger! Born on the streets, Hip Hop uses urban styles and the hottest moves set to CLEAN pop, R & B, house and more.
