Registration Fee:  There is an annual non-refundable registration/administration fee of $15 for a single student, $25 for a family.

Tuition rates are based on:

•·    Yearlong classes, including all scheduled holidays.

•·    Early Childhood classes run September thru May (nine months).

•·    Level I and above Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, and Hip-hop classes run September thru June (ten months). 

•·    Classes missed due to illness, vacation, etc may be made up.  Tuition is not discounted.

PrePaid Tuition Notes:

•·    With the exception of "Unlimited Hours" of attendance, prepaid tuition for the year is discounted 10% if paid in full at the time of registration. Please be aware that prepaid tuition is non-refundable.

If paying in monthly installments: 

•·    Your monthly payment is the year's tuition divided into installments and is not based on the number of classes per month.

•·    Tuition is due the first week of the month.  A late fee of $10 will be added if payment is not received by the 15th of the month.

•·    If accounts are more than two months past due, students will not be allowed to participate in classes until payment arrangements are made.  A little communication goes a long way.

Accepted payments: 

•·    Cash in a sealed enveloped marked with the student name, check payable to:  The Mid Shore Dance Academy,Visa/Mastercard.  Postdated checks will NOT be held.

•·    Payments may be dropped in the lock box at the studio or mailed to the studio - please do not hand directly to an instructor during the rush of starting or dismissing class.

 

**There is a $30 fee for checks returned by the bank**

 

Additional fees and costs (beyond registration and tuition):

•·    The only additional mandatory fees incurred with the program are the costs of dancewear supplies, recital costumes, and additional or extra recital tickets (parents attend free). 

•·    Recital costumes cost approximately $50-$65 each, and students need one costume per class.  Students in the Ballet I/Tap I combo class will need TWO costumes.

•·    Additional expenses, although not mandatory, may include professional costume portraits (taken at the studio), professional DVD's of recital performances, recital T-shirts, an online auction for front row recital seats, and program advertising sales.
